A passion for data storytelling.
Kevin specializes in leading data strategy to support campus decision-making. He has successfully rebuilt two institutional research offices by transforming them from tome-based fact book shops to modern dashboard-driven and automated information centres.
Outside of his work in institutional research, he has received grants to present research on student success and alumni debt at both regional and national conferences. A highlight of his accomplishments includes serving on two accreditation visits for the WASC Senior College and University Commission.
Kevin grew up in Vancouver, B.C. and holds a B.A in Economics from the University of British Columbia and a M.S in Agricultural Economics from the University of Guelph. The latter degree has allowed him to transition into education research by drawing parallels on how cattle transition from calves into the market with how students transition from freshmen into the job market.
Kevin is also the founder of Kai Analytics, a cloud-based research firm specializing in data visualization, survey, and automation.
